This Privacy Notice explains how Digimaps Core Teknoloji A.Ş. (“Digimaps Core”, “we”, “us”) processes personal data when you visit digimaps.co, contact us, request information or submit a project enquiry. Digimaps Core is the data controller for these activities.

2. Personal data we process

Depending on how you interact with the website, we may process:

  • identity and contact data, such as your name, email address and telephone number where provided;
  • business and project information, including your company, selected service, message, project requirements and correspondence;
  • technical and usage data, such as IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, timestamps, referral source and security logs;
  • cookie and privacy-preference data; and
  • information you choose to provide during a service enquiry or business relationship.

Please do not send special-category personal data or unnecessary confidential information through the contact form.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

We process personal data to:

  • receive and respond to enquiries, assess project requirements and prepare proposals;
  • take steps requested before entering into a contract and perform our service agreements;
  • manage client and supplier relationships, communications and support;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website and our services;

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), processing is based, as applicable, on the necessity to establish or perform a contract, compliance with legal obligations, the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, our legitimate interests where your fundamental rights are not harmed, and consent where the law specifically requires it. For visitors to whom the GDPR applies, the corresponding legal bases may include contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests and consent.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Strictly necessary technologies are used to operate and secure the website. Functional, preference or analytics technologies are used only in accordance with applicable consent requirements. Details and available controls are explained in our Cookie Policy.

5. Recipients and international transfers

We disclose personal data only where necessary to authorised employees and service providers that support our website, communications, security, hosting and business operations. The website is hosted on Shopify. Shopify and other service providers may process data through infrastructure located outside Türkiye. Where an international transfer occurs, we apply the transfer mechanisms and safeguards required by Article 9 of the KVKK and, where relevant, other applicable data-protection laws. We may also disclose data to public authorities where legally required.

6. Retention and security

We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the relevant purpose and applicable legal limitation or record-keeping periods. Enquiries that do not become a client relationship are reviewed and deleted or anonymised when no longer necessary. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards; however, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may ask whether your personal data is processed, request information about processing, learn its purpose and recipients, request correction or deletion where the legal conditions are met, object to certain results produced exclusively through automated systems, and request compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. Where the GDPR applies, additional rights may include restriction, portability and withdrawal of consent.

8. Third-party services and application privacy notices
